I am posting this picture again. I am not one for defending myself. But due to the constant reblogging of this pic with negative comments i thought i had to say my piece. Using fabrics with African prints is not exclusively for African people get it? You can go to any market in London or any City and buy this fabric. When i buy this fabric from the beautiful people of Ghana or India or whoever happens to be selling it. I have yet to get any negative response from them. i am pretty sure they are cool with people from other cultures or races sharing in the beauty of such things and I’m pretty sure those jeans you are wearing did not originate in Africa. The model in this pic is white but I am a mixed British woman of Caribbean decent. i make this shit and i wear Indian dresses , African prints, punk  tshirts , Dr martens, goth boots , natural afro, wigs, weaves. The lot. I do not limit myself cos the great thing about the world is , we all have stuff to share and we can all benefit from that. I do not label myself. For you to say that a white person cannot wear an African print is fucking stupid beyond belief. Fashion Nazi’s. I was born and raised in Manchester surrounded by people of all races and cultures. i soaked that shit up. When old Indian or African Ladies stop me in the street to tell me how beautiful i look . I know i’m doing the right thing. I live in London . A very diverse city . You should try mixing it up a little and stop being so fucking judgmental. My Tribe is not speaking of tribes in Africa only. It is speaking of all tribes. Look around you. Tribes are everywhere. Punks, goths , ravers , bashment heads and fucking Nicki Minaj clones. Also…you can go to Ghana and buy this fabric and make this jacket yourself if you want. Just like you said. I would love to see the results. This Kente fabric was made in Holland by the way. And on that note you can Fuck off and stop reblogging my shit.
